My name is Michelle, and I read w-a-y too many history books.
My friends wouldn't pick me as the type to be interested in history, but it's honestly not my fault! My mum really enjoys the history of the English Monarchy, and she has bought so many cooks on the subject that we've lost count. Mum has never seen the point in buying books that I like (read; teenage love/comedys that she wouldn't find funny in a million years), so I've always just read the same books as her. After a while I found myself buying books on King Henry VIII of England and Louis VIX, the lost daupin of French all by myself.
haha, I sound like such a history nerd. Oh well x)
History intrests me because I like finding out how people used to like back in the day, but most importanatly, I LOVE looking at the old outfits. And it's amazing to see how much history has shaped today's society and how we've generally evolved.
